25 July 22 - Bouncy Castles and Inflatable Set Ups Recorded

We're now going to film and record all set-ups as a matter of course. We've suffered damage to our inflatables recently, and we hope that recording and photographing our items prior to use will help us protect ourselves as well as our customers by ensuring that there's a full film of our work on the date of the event.

Bouncy castles and our other inflatables should not suffer any damages under normal use; i.e. do not carry sharp objects on to the unit such as glasses or keys, do not wear shoes, keep it away from sharp objects and open flames.

However, in some instances, improper use, neglect and failing to adhere to the proper usage instructions can lead to rips and tears, which takes the inflatable out of commission until the repair is completed. The cost of repairing inflatables might be a lot more than you expect, too!

When the event has finished, our trained staff will then examine the inflatable when we take it down and remove it to check for damage. The hirer will be liable for the cost of these repairs and any associated losses.

How to Avoid Damaging A Bouncy Castle

The following instructions should help you minimise your likelihood of damaging the bouncy castle:

  • Keep sharp objects away from the inflatable.
  • Supervise children at all times.
  • No face paint, silly strings, food, drink or other messy products allowed
  • Do not smoke or light a barbecue near the bouncy castle.
  • Do not attempt to move the bouncy castle.
  • Don't climb on the walls, roofs or sides of the inflatable.
  • Speak with Colourful Castles if you need any more information.
