Four in a Row, but Much Bigger

The rules are simple. The tactics are not always quite so simple. Our Giant Connect Four style game takes the familiar race to get four counters in a row and turns it into a large party game that children, teenagers and adults can all get involved with.

Players take turns dropping their coloured markers into the frame, trying to create an unbroken line of four horizontally, vertically or diagonally. Of course, while you're concentrating on your winning move, your opponent is busy trying to block it. One badly placed counter can turn a confident victory into an immediate "how did I not see that?" moment.

Easy to Learn, Surprisingly Competitive

There's no lengthy rulebook and no need to explain the game for twenty minutes before anybody can start. Pick a colour, take turns and be the first player to connect four. That simplicity makes it particularly useful at events with mixed ages.

Games can be over relatively quickly too, which means different guests can keep taking turns. Children can challenge their friends, parents can challenge the children, and grown-ups who insist they're "only having one go" have a habit of asking for a rematch.

A Giant Game to Add to Your Main Booking

Please note that Giant Connect Four cannot be hired by itself. It is available as an add-on when your booking contains eligible equipment with a total order value of £60 or more.

That makes it a handy extra alongside a bouncy castle, inflatable ball pool or soft play package. It gives guests another activity between turns on the main equipment and provides something adults can play as well.

If one giant game isn't enough, we also offer a package combining Giant Connect Four with our Giant Jenga. One tests whether you can think several moves ahead; the other tests whether you can remove a wooden block without bringing the whole lot crashing down.

Please Keep an Eye on Those Counters

At the beginning of your hire, the game will be supplied with the correct markers and pieces. Before collection, please return all markers to the game so they can be counted and checked.

The counters are game pieces rather than flying discs, even if an enthusiastic child decides otherwise. Please make sure the game is supervised by an adult and that pieces aren't thrown around, hidden or taken elsewhere during the party.

• Missing or damaged markers are charged at £10 each plus postage.
• Damaged bottom game sliders are charged at £20 each where they can be replaced.
• If a slider cannot be replaced, the cost of a replacement game of the same style and manufacturer may be charged.
• Damage to the main game may result in the replacement cost of an equivalent game being charged.
• Damage charges must be paid within 24 hours of the party or event.

Make Giant Connect Four Part of the Party

This is a good choice when you'd like an activity that doesn't involve bouncing, climbing or running around. It can sit alongside the main entertainment and keep another pair of guests occupied while everybody else watches, offers completely unsolicited tactical advice and waits for their turn.
