Carnival Games

Bring the traditional side-stall format to your event with our Retro Carnival Games. These reproduced carnival-style challenges provide quick, simple games that guests can play individually, against friends or as part of a larger competition.

Each game is approximately 4ft x 2ft and is presented on a table with a table cover, giving organisers a neat row of ready-to-play attractions rather than loose games placed around the venue. We currently have seven different types available, with games available individually or in larger quantities.

Build Your Own Carnival Games Line-Up

You don't have to hire the entire collection. The number of games can be matched to the scale of the event, available space and other entertainment you've already booked.

Our current pricing is:

• 1 Retro Carnival Game: £25
• 2 Retro Carnival Games: £40
• 5 Retro Carnival Games: £100
• Additional games after five: £20 each

We currently have seven different carnival game designs available, with the range intended to grow further. Please contact us if you need a particular quantity or want help putting together a larger games package.

Please note that our minimum local order value is £50. Unfortunately, this means we cannot deliver a single £25 Carnival Game as a standalone booking. One game can, however, be added to another qualifying hire.

Traditional Games Without a Huge Footprint

A major advantage of these games is their relatively compact size. At approximately 4ft x 2ft each, several can be arranged around a hall or event space without requiring the footprint of another large inflatable.

They can be positioned as a line of carnival stalls, distributed between other activities or used to create a dedicated competition zone.

This format makes them particularly suitable for:

• indoor hall events;

Tables and Covers Are Part of the Presentation

We don't simply arrive with the game boards and leave you to work out how to display them.

The Carnival Games are set up by Colourful Castles on tables with table covers, providing a smart and consistent appearance across the games area.

This can be especially useful for corporate bookings, schools and organised public events where the presentation of the equipment matters alongside the activity itself.

Seven Games Means Plenty of Ways to Run Them

A few Retro Carnival Games can operate as casual drop-in entertainment, while a larger collection gives organisers scope to create a structured challenge.

For example, participants could move from game to game, collect points at each station and compare totals at the end. Schools could divide pupils into groups, while corporate organisers could use several games as part of a broader team competition.

Because each challenge is relatively quick to attempt, guests can rotate between stations rather than spending a long period on a single attraction.

Invoices Available for Schools and Businesses

Invoices are available for schools, corporate businesses and other suitable organisations. If your booking needs to go through an accounts department, school office or company purchasing process, let us know when enquiring.

For larger bookings, it also helps to tell us your expected attendance, venue, event duration and approximate number of game stations required.

Every Game Is Checked Before Use

All Carnival Games are set up by our team and the individual playing pieces are checked and photographed before use. This provides a clear record of the equipment supplied with the booking.

Customers are responsible for returning the games and their pieces in the condition in which they were supplied.

Missing playing pieces and damage to game boards are chargeable. The applicable damage charges are available on request and are also covered within our hire terms and conditions.

Combine Retro Games With Giant Games

If you want a larger games section, the Retro Carnival Games can sit alongside Giant Connect 4, Giant Jenga and our Buzz Wire Challenge.

Mixing different formats can work particularly well because guests move between tabletop carnival challenges and much larger freestanding games rather than repeating the same activity.

Add an Inflatable Zone for a Full Fun Day

At a school or corporate event, the Carnival Games can form one section of the site while larger equipment operates elsewhere.

The Fun Run introduces active obstacle-course competition, while bouncy castles can provide separate entertainment for children. For events involving younger families, soft play and ball pools can also create an age-appropriate toddler section.

Our larger MEGA bundle deals can include equipment such as the 28ft Fun Run, Twin Slide Play Park and Adult Bouncy Castle, with Carnival Games added to increase the number and variety of activities available.

Retro Carnival Game Hire in Harpenden, Luton and Bedfordshire

Colourful Castles supplies Carnival Games for suitable events throughout Harpenden, Barton le Clay, Dunstable, Houghton Regis, Luton, Leighton Buzzard and surrounding locations.

Remember that there is a £50 minimum order for local hires, so a single £25 game cannot be delivered on its own. It can instead be combined with another Carnival Game, Giant Games, an inflatable or other qualifying equipment.
